The VTA VKL 70-5 is the entry-level system in the VTA line up and is suitable for processors in need of industry-standard production rates for the recreational market.
If desired, it can be combined in series with an additional VKL 70-5 unit to improve efficiency by avoiding the need for a second pass on a single machine. This upgrade option adds redundancy (for maintenance or in the event of downtime) and can also be performed at a later stage, allowing your equipment to grow with your operation.
The VKL 70-5 (commonly known as the “glass plant” in our VKL distillation line) has a throughput capability of 1,200 – 1,700 mL per hour, and yields approximately 4.8-5.4 liters of distillate per 8 hour shift.
