Silica 60 (60a) is a chromatography gel bed used for remediation. It is mixed together with the solvent in the column making a slurry, leaving the silica sitting evenly in the column. Silica helps separate the fractions of compounds being passed through the stationary phase. Silica 60 offers high flow rates and high ability to adsorb/separate. Low operating pressure with reproducible results.
